A stunning quality lens with miniscule depth of field at f/1.8. Likely to have had a tough life, so check carefully if buying used. Lacking the later IS of the f/2 version it's still a great performer in low light. With a minimum focus distance of 2.5m not necessarily that great for portrait work.
