A push-pull zoom that uses the noisier AFD focus motor. Close focus is good, giving a 0.23x magnification. An old lens, so check carefully if looking to buy.

Note too the subtle differences between this L version and the slightly older non - 'L' model. Both are very similar in external design, but differ slightly internally.
